Keppel DC REIT appoints Low Huan Ping as new lead independent director

This follows Kenny Kwan's decision to step down after six years.

Keppel DC REIT Management Pte. Ltd. has announced the appointment of Low Huan Ping as lead independent director and chairman of the nominating and remuneration committee, effective 6 May 2025.

This follows the decision of Kenny Kwan to step down from these roles after six years of service.

Low, who will also step down from his position on the environmental, social, and governance (ESG) Committee, will be succeeded by Andrew Tan, who has been appointed as a new member of the committee.

Christina Tan, chairman of Keppel DC REIT, expressed gratitude to Kwan for his invaluable contributions during his tenure. “His leadership and expertise in legal and capital markets matters, particularly in real estate investment structures and regulatory compliance, have greatly contributed to the growth and success of Keppel DC REIT.”

Tan also welcomed Low to his new role, emphasizing his wealth of experience in the information technology sector.

Following these changes, the Board of Keppel DC REIT will comprise six directors, with four independent directors.

A NOTE FROM SINGAPORE BUSINESS REVIEW

The people you want to reach are already in this room.

Every quarter, SBR lands on the desks of the founders, CFOs, and directors running Asia's most consequential companies. Every day, they open our newsletter and read our website. It's a room that took twenty years to build — and it's the one most of our partners are trying to get into.

The good news is that the door is open. We work with companies on thought leadership articles, sponsored content, industry summits across Southeast Asia, regional awards programmes, podcasts, and media placements in print and digital. The shape of the right partnership depends on what you're trying to do, which is why we'd rather start with a conversation than send a rate card.

If you have something this room should know about, tell us. We'll tell you honestly whether we can help, and how.

No rate cards until we understand the brief. It's a better use of everyone's time.
