Manulife US REIT renews lease with 4th largest tenant

Kilpatrick Townsend extended its lease at 1110 Peachtree, Atlanta, to 2030.

Manulife US REIT (MUST) has secured a 65-month renewal for Kilpatrick Townsend.

The law firm is the largest tenant of 1100 Peachtree in Midtown, Atlanta, making up about a third of the net lettable area of the building.

The Atlanta-headquartered international law firm is also MUST’s fourth largest tenant.

Following renewal, the expiry of Kilpatrick Townsend’s lease was extended from July 31, 2025, to December 31, 2030.

MUST is undertaking renovation of the Atlanta building’s ground floor and common spaces. The REIT expects to complete the USD$18m asset enhancement in 2025.

The enhancement will include a complete renovation of the lobby, elevator cabs, upgraded landscaping and hardscaping of the building exteriors, a new glass storefront system at the building entrance and the addition of an upscale coffee bar in the lobby.

A NOTE FROM SINGAPORE BUSINESS REVIEW

The people you want to reach are already in this room.

Every quarter, SBR lands on the desks of the founders, CFOs, and directors running Asia's most consequential companies. Every day, they open our newsletter and read our website. It's a room that took twenty years to build — and it's the one most of our partners are trying to get into.

The good news is that the door is open. We work with companies on thought leadership articles, sponsored content, industry summits across Southeast Asia, regional awards programmes, podcasts, and media placements in print and digital. The shape of the right partnership depends on what you're trying to do, which is why we'd rather start with a conversation than send a rate card.

If you have something this room should know about, tell us. We'll tell you honestly whether we can help, and how.

No rate cards until we understand the brief. It's a better use of everyone's time.
