Office units in 20 Cecil Street on sale for $75.88m

The office units will be on sale until 14 June 2022.

Office units across four levels in 20 Cecil Street will be on sale for $75.88m through an expression of interest exercise until 14 June 2022, real estate firm, CBRE, said.

The property is composed of 22 strata units with a total area of about 24,477 square feet and features premium office specifications including a 2.9-meter floor-to-ceiling height with full curtain window and air-conditioning which allows for independent unit operation.

Locals and foreigners are eligible to purchase the subject party as there will be no Additional Buyers’ Stamp Duty or Sellers’ Stamp Duty imposed on the transaction.

CBRE also said the price translates to about $3,100 per square foot based on the strata area.

Michael Tay, CBRE Singapore head of capital markets, said they see strong interest from investors and owner-occupiers for this property, which has “hi-specs quality, accessibility, and strategic location.”

“20 Cecil Street has been popular among tenants and owner-occupiers considering the strong tenant profile from the diverse trade mix it currently accommodates,” he added.

A NOTE FROM SINGAPORE BUSINESS REVIEW

The people you want to reach are already in this room.

Every quarter, SBR lands on the desks of the founders, CFOs, and directors running Asia's most consequential companies. Every day, they open our newsletter and read our website. It's a room that took twenty years to build — and it's the one most of our partners are trying to get into.

The good news is that the door is open. We work with companies on thought leadership articles, sponsored content, industry summits across Southeast Asia, regional awards programmes, podcasts, and media placements in print and digital. The shape of the right partnership depends on what you're trying to do, which is why we'd rather start with a conversation than send a rate card.

If you have something this room should know about, tell us. We'll tell you honestly whether we can help, and how.

No rate cards until we understand the brief. It's a better use of everyone's time.
