Public tender for Trendale Tower relaunched for $168m

The property is a freehold residential site located within Cairnhill.

The public tender for Trendale Tower is relaunching for a reserve price of $168m.

Situated at 79 Cairnhill Road, Trendale Tower is a 20-storey freehold development housing 18 apartments of 298 square meters each. The site offers spectacular unblocked views of the Orchard skyline and the lush greenery of Goodwood Hill. It enjoys unrivalled convenience with the Newton MRT Interchange station less than 500m away, connecting directly to the North South and Downtown MRT lines. Future residents are also further connected with the upcoming Thomson-East Coast MRT line.

Well served by major arterial roads such as Scotts Road, Bukit Timah Road and Dunearn Road, the site enjoys easy access to the rest of the island via Central Expressway (CTE) and Pan Island Expressway (PIE), with the Central Business District (CBD) a short eight minutes drive away.

The reserve price is $168m which works out to $2,257 per plot ratio after factoring in the 7% bonus GFA for balconies. The development charge payable for the 7% bonus GFA is approximately $7.6m.

The tender closes on 12 January 2023, at 3pm.

A NOTE FROM SINGAPORE BUSINESS REVIEW

The people you want to reach are already in this room.

Every quarter, SBR lands on the desks of the founders, CFOs, and directors running Asia's most consequential companies. Every day, they open our newsletter and read our website. It's a room that took twenty years to build — and it's the one most of our partners are trying to get into.

The good news is that the door is open. We work with companies on thought leadership articles, sponsored content, industry summits across Southeast Asia, regional awards programmes, podcasts, and media placements in print and digital. The shape of the right partnership depends on what you're trying to do, which is why we'd rather start with a conversation than send a rate card.

If you have something this room should know about, tell us. We'll tell you honestly whether we can help, and how.

No rate cards until we understand the brief. It's a better use of everyone's time.
