REIT Watch: Here are the top 10 S-Reits in H1

S-REITs generated 9.3% total returns.

Singapore Exchange, in collaboration with a news site, ranked the top 10 best-performing S-Reits in the first six months of 2023. 

These REITs averaged 6.2% in distribution yield and generated 9.3% total returns.

It identified the top 10 REITs as Keppel DC REIT, Cromwell European REIT, Frasers Logistics & Commercial Trust, Frasers Hospitality Trust, Paragon REIT, Frasers Centrepoint Trust, AIMS APAC REIT, ParkwayLife REIT, CapitaLand India Trust, and CapitaLand Ascott Trust

Singapore-listed S-REITs continue to be resilient despite decelerating global growth, “with the iEdge S-REIT Index generating 2.1% in total returns in the first half of 2023, outperforming the STI's 1.2% and the FTSE EPRA NaREIT Asia ex Japan Index's -1.7%.” 

Further, the report showed that hospitality trusts are reporting higher in H1, with 10 S-REITs reporting higher yearly net property income for the half year period ending 30 June 2023.
