Retail space prices down by 1.4% in Q1

Rentals of retail space also declined by 0.4%.

The prices of retail space fell by 1.4% in the first quarter (Q1) of 2022, compared with the 1.9% increase in the previous quarter, data from the Urban Redevelopment Authority (URA) showed.

The URA reported that the price went down from 104.3 in the fourth quarter of 2021 to 102.8 in Q1 2022.

Rentals of retail space also decreased by 0.4% in Q1 2022, compared with the 0.6% increase in the previous quarter.

Specifically, the rental index went down from 80.3 points last quarter to 80 points in Q1 2022.
