SLA awards 2 Moulmein Road redevelopment project to Country City
The developer plans to add restaurants and cafés, sports and wellness facilities, and pet-friendly areas to the state property.
Country City Investment Pte Ltd was awarded the tender by the Singapore Land Authority (SLA) for the redevelopment of a state property at 2 Moulmein Road, a 91,000-square-metre estate of more than 40 heritage buildings.
The site was first established in 1913 as Middleton Hospital and now holds Singapore’s Communicable Diseases Centre.
Country City Investment plans to redevelop 2 Moulmein Road with thematic zones designed for different age groups and interests, restaurants and cafés, sports and wellness facilities, learning spaces, and pet-friendly areas, the developer said in a release.
It will collaborate with SLA, heritage specialists, and consultants to guide decisions on design and programming, it added.
