Investors from SG deployed a total of US$15.8b into global real estate in 2022.
Half of the US15.8b which Singaporean investors deployed into global real estate in 2022 went to Asia-Pacific, data from CBRE showed.
Singaporean investors also put around the same level of investment in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) region.
Meanwhile, the United States received around US$1b in investment from Singaporeans.
According to CBRE, Singapore is the largest source of capital in the Asia Pacific; however, investment from Singaporeans halved compared to 2021.
Amongst the most active investors from the Lion City were GIC, Capitalnd and Mapletree.
