Which district has the highest shophouse sales in 3Q23?

The top district accounted for 19 of the 38 shophouses sold during the quarter.

Thirty-eight (38) shophouses exchanged hands in 3Q23; of which, the majority were from District 8 (Little India, Jalan Besar).

Data from PropNex showed that District 8 had 19 deals worth $84.5m, making it the top district in sales value.

The number of shophouses transacted in District 8 represents an uptick from 2Q23 when nine shophouses exchanged hands.

Behind District 8 were District 14 (Geylang, Eunos) and District 12 (Balestier, Toa Payoh, Serangoon), with six and five deals, respectively.
