Dr Girija Shawarikar
Dr Girija Shawarikar is an Assistant Professor in Finance, Accounting, and Economics at SP Jain School of Global Management, Singapore, with a PhD in Behavioural Finance. She integrates behavioural science into her teaching, enabling students to understand how human behaviour influences real-world financial choices, economic systems, and business environments.
Beyond teaching, Dr Shawarikar mentors postgraduate and doctoral students, guiding them in translating theoretical frameworks into practical applications. Her academic and research interests focus on the critical role of behavioural science in shaping decision-making processes.
