Jimmy Kwang
Jimmy Kwang was appointed as Regional Vice President of Sales for Asia at Talend in January 2020. Jimmy is responsible for driving regional business development and growth, including expanding Talend's partner ecosystem, and will be reporting to Stu Garrow, Senior Vice President of Sales and General Manager, APAC.
Jimmy brings more than 30 years of industry experience in developing and managing complex and dynamic business environments, from enterprise cloud adoption to big data analytics to automation to artificial intelligence and blockchain.
Prior to joining Talend, Jimmy served as Country Manager, Data, AI, and Cloud solutions at IBM Singapore, where he developed effective go-to-market business models, drove high-performance teams, and augmented productive ecosystems. Over the last three years, he has worked alongside government agencies to create awareness of the impact of digitalization on the future of work. Jimmy spent over 20 years with IBM, where he held multiple leadership roles from General Manager Malaysia for cloud software & solutions to Country Manager for the business partner organization in Singapore. He started
his career as an Industrial Engineer in a manufacturing facility. Jimmy speaks regularly at industry events, where he shares his perspectives on disruptive technologies.
Jimmy graduated from the University of New South Wales (Sydney, Australia) with a degree in Industrial Engineering. He majored in Operations Research, with a minor in Computer-Aided Manufacturing. He has attended executive programs at INSEAD/CIEBS and Boston University.
