SERT shuffles leadership team after Cabinet, SBF appointments
Desmond Lee stepped down whilst Jeffrey Siow and Teo Siong Seng joined.
The Singapore Economic Resilience Taskforce has announced changes to its composition effective immediately.
Minister for Education and Minister-in-charge of Social Services Integration, Desmond Lee, will step off SERT, whilst Acting Minister for Transport and Senior Minister of State for Finance, Jeffrey Siow, will join.
Meanwhile, newly elected SBF Chairman Teo Siong Seng will replace Lim Ming Yan as the Singapore Business Federation (SBF) representative.
SERT will be composed of Minister for Digital Development and Information Josephine Teo, Minister for Manpower and Minister-in-charge of Energy and Science & Technology Tan See Leng, Minister for National Development Chee Hong Tat, Chairman of SBF Teo Siong Seng, and Secretary-General of the National Trades Union Congress (NTUC) Ng Chee Meng, and President of the Singapore National Employers Federation (SNEF), Tan Hee Teck.
SERT’s composition was adjusted following the recent Cabinet and SBF council appointments.
