SGInnovate teams up with World Economic Forum for global collaboration

This is the first expansion of the initiative to Singapore.

SGInnovate, a company owned by the Singapore government, announced through a press release that they will enter into a partnership with the World Economic Forum (WEF) and their Scale360 initiative.

The goal of this partnership is to advance circular economy adoption in Singapore and Southeast Asia and was also unveiled at the WEF Sustainable Development Impact Summit 2021.

Access to Scale360 resources will enable SGInnovate to pursue its mission to advance conversations around Deep Tech. Opportunities between startups and corporates can be drawn through the use of Scale360 Circular Innovation Playbook.

On Scale360’s end, the WEF platform will be able to use SGInnovate’s Deep Tech community. This also includes research and development purposes while enhancing global collaboration.

SGInnovate will also be able to utilize this partnership to engage other stakeholders in activities such as panels, roundtable discussions and Reverse Pitches.

Dr. Lim Jui, CEO, SGInnovate, reiterated the role of Deep Tech in achieving the Green Plan 2030 targets.

“To this end, circular innovation and Deep Tech go hand-in-hand, and this partnership with the Scale360° is crucial to our overall mission to solve the world’s most challenging problems through emerging technologies. We’re looking forward to working closely with the Scale360° team to create a platform that will enable stakeholders to exchange ideas and translate innovation and research into technology-driven solutions that will guide our economy’s transition towards circularity.”

A NOTE FROM SINGAPORE BUSINESS REVIEW

The people you want to reach are already in this room.

Every quarter, SBR lands on the desks of the founders, CFOs, and directors running Asia's most consequential companies. Every day, they open our newsletter and read our website. It's a room that took twenty years to build — and it's the one most of our partners are trying to get into.

The good news is that the door is open. We work with companies on thought leadership articles, sponsored content, industry summits across Southeast Asia, regional awards programmes, podcasts, and media placements in print and digital. The shape of the right partnership depends on what you're trying to do, which is why we'd rather start with a conversation than send a rate card.

If you have something this room should know about, tell us. We'll tell you honestly whether we can help, and how.

No rate cards until we understand the brief. It's a better use of everyone's time.
