Almost 100% votes cast for Keppel, Sembmarine proposed merger

The voting was conducted on 8 December 2022 during the meeting.

The Keppel Corporation’s shareholders greenlighted the proposed merger of Keppel Offshore & Marine (Keppel O&M) and Semcorp Marine (Sembmarine) after the extraordinary general meeting on 8 December.

The votes cast was at 99.96% with 562,833,591 total number of shares whilst those who were against was at 0.04%.

Temasek Holdings has a direct interest with the shares held in the capital company and has abstained from voting on the resolution 1, which involves the asset co-transfer and the proposed combination of Keppel O&M and Sembmarine.

DrewCorp Services Pte Ltd was designated as scrutineers for the EGM.
