Keppel Corp named as amongst 16 world champions of energy

Citi analysts led by Alastair Syme have identified 16 energy firms as 'global champions' based on a number of financial metrics and returns trends. Simply put, they are the energy companies that benefited most from the sector's massive growth opportunities.

Each of the 16 companies have market capitalization amounting to atleast US$3bn, have significant presence outside their respective homes, and established track record.

Keppel which topped Asian energy companies was ranked 7 in consideration of its 20 global yards and a strong history/presence in theBrazilian market.
