Keppel Infrastructure Trust appoints ex-chairman as new director, ESG member

Khor chaired the trustee-manager when the trust made its SGX debut in 2010.

Keppel Infrastructure Trust’s manager appointed Khor Poh Hwa as an independent director on the Board and a member of its Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) Committee effective Monday, 1 July.

Khor was the first chairman of K-Green Trust, which was later renamed to Keppel Infrastructure Trust and subsequently combined with CitySpring Infrastructure Trust.

The 74-year-old industry veteran also served on the boards of other Keppel entities and became an advisor for the township and infrastructure development at Keppel.

"Poh Hwa brings with him decades of experience in infrastructure development and management, which will strengthen the Board’s competencies as we continue to steer KIT to deliver sustainable growth and value to our Unitholders," said Daniel Ee, current chairman of KIFM.

Khor also held various engineering posts at Singapore’s Public Works Department where he spent over two decades overseeing road and transportation projects, building, and airport development.

A NOTE FROM SINGAPORE BUSINESS REVIEW

The people you want to reach are already in this room.

Every quarter, SBR lands on the desks of the founders, CFOs, and directors running Asia's most consequential companies. Every day, they open our newsletter and read our website. It's a room that took twenty years to build — and it's the one most of our partners are trying to get into.

The good news is that the door is open. We work with companies on thought leadership articles, sponsored content, industry summits across Southeast Asia, regional awards programmes, podcasts, and media placements in print and digital. The shape of the right partnership depends on what you're trying to do, which is why we'd rather start with a conversation than send a rate card.

If you have something this room should know about, tell us. We'll tell you honestly whether we can help, and how.

No rate cards until we understand the brief. It's a better use of everyone's time.
