Keppel appoints Evercore Asia as financial adviser

This is despite the pre-conditions not being met as of now.

Keppel Corporation will appoint Evercore Asia as its independent financial adviser (IFA), according to an announcement.

Keppel made the movie despite the pre-conditions having not been satisfied or waived by the offeror yet, ensuring that the IFA would have sufficient time to carry out its review.

Subject to the partial offer being made, a circular containing the advice of the IFA and the recommendation of the directors will be sent to shareholders within 14 days from the date of despatch of the formal offer document to be issued by the offeror.

However, the partial offer will not be made if the pre-conditions are not satisfied on or before 21 October.
