Great Eastern Holdings appoints Samuel Nag Tsien as Director
Mr. Tsien has been working as a senior executive in huge banks.
The Board of Great Eastern Holdings Nominating Committee ("NC") has recommended the appointment of Mr Samuel Tsien as a non-executive Director of the Company. The NC has considered Mr Tsien's qualifications, track record, age, experience, capabilities and skills that will enable him to contribute to the effectiveness of the Board and complement the skills, knowledge and expertise of the existing Board Members of the Company. The Board has approved the appointment of Mr Tsien as a Director.
Mr Tsien, 57, is a Director of Member of Risk and Investment Committee Global Head, Global Corporate Bank, OCBC Bank from from 2007 to present. He was also President & CEO, China Construction Bank (Asia) Corporation Ltd (formerly known as Bank of America (Asia) Ltd), Hong Kong from 2006 to 2007 and President and CEO, Bank of America (Asia) Ltd, Hong Kong from 1995 to 2006, according to a Great Eastern Holdings report.
