Local start-up offers food pre-ordering online

Food queues and waiting for food may soon be things of the past.

Hastify is an online food pre-ordering website which started last August that helps busy CBD executives be more productive and save time. Survey shows that the average CBD worker spends around 10-15 minutes queuing up and waiting for food during lunch hours.

Customers can view the list of partner restaurants at Hastify.com and order from a digitized version of their menu.

Orders are sent in real-time to the restaurant kitchens through a proprietary technology developed in-house.

Hastify now has more than 40 outlets around the major CBD areas of Singapore. Clients include Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf (2 outlets in Marina Bay and The Sail), Munch Saladsmith (2 outlets in Marina Bay and Robinson Road), Standing Sushi Bar (2 outlets in Marina Bay and Queen Street), Smoulder Lava Cakes, Two Blur Guys burger in Tanjong Pagar, and many more. One of the popular outlets coming soon includes Lao Ban Soya Beancurd of which always has a very long queue.

Co-founder Hoong-An notes that with two months under the belt, the site offers busy consumers to book their meal online and pick it up without having to hustle in the the queues, saving time for the hard worker in crowded areas.

"Despite being only two months old, the site offers 30 F&B clients for the busy Singaporean to pick from. And the best part is, its free for the consumer. Certainly can't be," he said.

Restaurants Sorted by Location

At Hastify.com, customers can find a mapview of restaurants that are nearby them. Upon clicking on the restaurant links, customers can view their online menu and order directly from them. Customers can also read restaurant editorials and reviews on the restaurant page.

Appetising Online Menu

Customers can find a digital version of the restaurants’ menu complete with pictures and descriptions of the food they serve. There is also a ‘popular’ tab that shows the top items from the restaurants, which their customers love.

Delivery
For a small fee, Hastify works with a delivery company to provide runners to help collect food from nearby restaurants and deliver them to your office floor.

Accepts all Major Credit Cards
Visa, MasterCard, AMEX, Discover, Paypal are all accepted as the payment method at Hastify.com. There is also an option to remember the credit card details for easy ordering in the future.
