In a statement, Overseas Union Enterprise notes that it has received a number of queries from various parties as to its intention with respect to Fraser and Neave. OUE wishes to state that it is in discussions with certain parties and is considering all options with respect to F&N, including an offer for F&N shares.

Shareholders of OUE and F&N should note that there is no certainty that an offer for F&N will materialise. Accordingly, shareholders of OUE and F&N are advised to refrain from taking any action in relation to their shares or securities in OUE or F&N (as the case may be) which may be prejudicial to their interests.
