Party time! Gov't lifts capacity limit for nightlife establishments

The lifting will take effect on 14 June.

Revellers can dance the night away beginning 14 June as there will no longer be a capacity limit in nightlife establishments.

Apart from the lifting of the capacity limit, patrons will also no longer be required to obtain negative Antigen Rapid test (ART) results to enter the venue.

However, the Ministry of Health (MOH) said Vaccination-Differentiated Safe Management Measures (VDS) will still apply, meaning operators can only allow fully-vaccinated persons to enter their establishments.

"Random checks may be conducted by enforcement officers to ensure that operators comply with the requirement for VDS checks," the MOH added.
