Earnings per share declined to $0.03 from $0.22 a year earlier.
Qian Hu Corporation’s profit attributable to shareholders declined by 87.7% year on year to $31,000 during the first half of financial year 2025.
This was primarily due to global economic uncertainty, rising operational costs, and continued geopolitical challenges.
Meanwhile, the group reported a revenue of $35.1m, supported by growth in its Fish segment, which improved by 5.3% YoY due to increased demand across its broader product range.
Moreover, the accessories segment sales fell by 3.9% YoY to $16.1m, mainly due to cautious buying in some overseas markets such as China, whilst the plastics segment turned in a 4.4% YoY decline in sales to $3.8m.
Earnings per share declined to $0.03 from $0.22 a year earlier.
