September 2012 bad month for fast food chains

Turnover decreased 0.2% compared to 2011.

The Singapore Department of Statistics reported:

Compared to September 2011, food caterers recorded a 6.4% increase in receipts in September 2012. Similarly, turnover of other eating places and restaurants rose 5.3% and 2.7% respectively over the previous year.

On the other hand, turnover of fast food outlets decreased 0.2% in September 2012 over September 2011.
