ThaiBev’s net profit up 13% to $909.9m in FY14

Thanks to robust alcohol sales.

ThaiBev reported that its net profit climbed 13% to $909.9m (THB 21.7b) in FY14, thanks to robust sales in its spirits and beer businesses.

Net profit in the spirits business grew 6.4%, while net profit in its beer business surged 188.6%. Operating results of F&N and FCL rose 29.2%.

However, net loss in the non-alcoholic beverages business inched up 0.3% while net profit in the food business dropped 58.0%.
