ISEC Healthcare to buy Malaysia eye centre for $12.2m

Indah specialist runs a multiple sub-specialist eye care service.

ISEC Healthcare, through its Malaysia unit ISEC Sdn. Bhd. has entered into a conditional sale and purchase agreement to acquire Indah Specialist Eye Centre for an aggregate consideration of $12.2m (RM37,360,000), according to its SGX filing.

Indah Specialist was launched in Malaysia in 2012, and is in the business of operating a multiple sub-specialist eye centre in Johor Bahru, Malaysia.

ISEC expects the acquisition to boost its stream of recurring income and cash flow in Johor Bahru where the demand for specialised and quality medical eye care services is sighted to increase.
