CCCS opens consultation for proposed TPG acquisition of Econ Healthcare
Public feedback can be submitted starting 8 September to 5:00 pm on 19 September.
The Competition and Consumer Commission of Singapore (CCCS) is inviting public feedback on the proposed acquisition of Econ Healthcare (Asia) by TPG Inc.
On 29 August, CCCS received a sole application from TPG for a decision on whether the transaction would be anti-competitive.
Econ Healthcare is a private nursing home operator in China, Malaysia and Singapore. In Singapore, the group operates eight medicare centres and also provides non-residential care services.
TPG is a global investment firm with offices worldwide, including in Singapore. It invests in a range of companies and asset classes, such as private equity, real estate, and credit.
Public feedback can be submitted starting 8 September to 5 p.m. on 19 September.
