Chart of the Day: Singaporeans' common concerns in receiving quality healthcare

Cost is the top concern but getting an appointment is the second top concern.

Whilst the majority of Singaporeans' top issue in receiving quality healthcare is cost, 33% of them also have concerns in getting an appointment quickly when they are ill.

Cigna healthcare's study also showed a chart with 22% getting care at night during weekends or holidays.

More than two in 10 are also having trouble finding a healthcare practitioner they can trust.

More than two in 10 (21%) are having problems with finding a healthcare practitioner who listens to them.

A total of 1,100 Singaporeans participated in the online survey conducted between 3 and 31 January 2023.
