Singapore Paincare Holdings earnings slump 53.3% in H1 2025

The decline was due to losses from divestments and a joint venture.

Singapore Paincare Holdings reported a 53.5% year-on-year (YoY) drop in earnings for H1 2024 to $0.45m from $0.97m a year ago.

Earnings per share stood at $0.0026.

Revenue for the period rose slightly by 2.8% YoY to $13.73m from $13.36m in H1 2024 mainly due to an increase in revenue from specialist clinics & TCM segments, offset by the decrease in revenue from general practitioners (GP) clinics.

The decrease in revenue from GP clinics is due to the strategic divestment of non-performing clinics, compensated by some relatively new GP clinics, which experienced large revenue increases.

In addition, the group reported a loss of $0.04m from the share of results of a joint venture for Singapore Paincare Capital in H1 2025, an increase from $0.02m in H1 2024.

A NOTE FROM SINGAPORE BUSINESS REVIEW

The people you want to reach are already in this room.

Every quarter, SBR lands on the desks of the founders, CFOs, and directors running Asia's most consequential companies. Every day, they open our newsletter and read our website. It's a room that took twenty years to build — and it's the one most of our partners are trying to get into.

The good news is that the door is open. We work with companies on thought leadership articles, sponsored content, industry summits across Southeast Asia, regional awards programmes, podcasts, and media placements in print and digital. The shape of the right partnership depends on what you're trying to do, which is why we'd rather start with a conversation than send a rate card.

If you have something this room should know about, tell us. We'll tell you honestly whether we can help, and how.

No rate cards until we understand the brief. It's a better use of everyone's time.
