Uhlmann opens new office in Singapore to boost ASEAN presence

The German pharmaceutical packaging company opens its office today.

Uhlmann Pac-Systeme, based in Laupheim, Germany, extends its global reach with a new office in Singapore, reinforcing its commitment to the ASEAN region and showcasing expertise in pharmaceutical packaging.

The expanded 2000-square-meter facility houses assembly, production, offices, and storage.

With machines like the B 1240, B 200, and C 130, Uhlmann said in a media release it supports Singapore's burgeoning biopharma sector and exports to over 13 regions.

The Singapore team focuses on localised solutions, service, engineering, and production, creating job opportunities and enhancing the region's supply chain resilience.

"Uhlmann’s expansion will add to the depth of capabilities and services that Singapore can offer to biopharma manufacturers locally and across the region. This growing ecosystem will help strengthen supply chain resilience for businesses here while enhancing the overall competitiveness of Singapore’s biomedical sciences sector,” Elaine Teo, Senior Vice President, Global Enterprises Division, Singapore Economic Development Board, said in the statement.

“We are grateful for the partnership and confidence that Uhlmann has in Singapore and warmly welcome their expanded presence here.” Teo added.

The official opening is today and will be attended by Uhlmann's management team, regional partners, and industry experts. The new office is situated at 11 Tampines Street 92, #01-02, Tampines Biz Hub, Singapore 528872.

A NOTE FROM SINGAPORE BUSINESS REVIEW

The people you want to reach are already in this room.

Every quarter, SBR lands on the desks of the founders, CFOs, and directors running Asia's most consequential companies. Every day, they open our newsletter and read our website. It's a room that took twenty years to build — and it's the one most of our partners are trying to get into.

The good news is that the door is open. We work with companies on thought leadership articles, sponsored content, industry summits across Southeast Asia, regional awards programmes, podcasts, and media placements in print and digital. The shape of the right partnership depends on what you're trying to do, which is why we'd rather start with a conversation than send a rate card.

If you have something this room should know about, tell us. We'll tell you honestly whether we can help, and how.

No rate cards until we understand the brief. It's a better use of everyone's time.
