Ascott opens 6th lyf coliving property in Asia

The Ascott Limited’s 240-unit property is located in Singapore.

Ascott Limited, the wholly-owned lodging business unit, CapitaLand Investment Limited, opened lyf Farrer Park Singapore, the sixth lyf coliving property established in Asia and the third in the Lion City.

The 240-unit property is near Farrer Park Metro Rail station, giving tenants access to the market’s major attractions, shopping malls, and the central business district.

It also offers communal spaces including a social kitchen, barbecue pit, coworking lounge, laundromat, and a social gym. The coliving property also has an outdoor fitness corner where guests can have yoga classes or meditations.

There are also meeting rooms for online meetings and mini-workshops that can accommodate up to 50 people. The new property will also offer events, workshops, and activities with the culture of Little India.

Norman Cross, chief of lyf Brand and general manager of lyf Singapore, said the coliving property will not only offer creative living and social spaces but also community programmes.

“Our guests can also enjoy our specially-curated #lyfgoeslocal community programmes. Curating these community programmes and experiences is at the core of what we do at lyf. We offer guests opportunities to interact with other individuals within the property as well as be a part of the neighbourhood through our programmes,” said Cross.

A NOTE FROM SINGAPORE BUSINESS REVIEW

The people you want to reach are already in this room.

Every quarter, SBR lands on the desks of the founders, CFOs, and directors running Asia's most consequential companies. Every day, they open our newsletter and read our website. It's a room that took twenty years to build — and it's the one most of our partners are trying to get into.

The good news is that the door is open. We work with companies on thought leadership articles, sponsored content, industry summits across Southeast Asia, regional awards programmes, podcasts, and media placements in print and digital. The shape of the right partnership depends on what you're trying to do, which is why we'd rather start with a conversation than send a rate card.

If you have something this room should know about, tell us. We'll tell you honestly whether we can help, and how.

No rate cards until we understand the brief. It's a better use of everyone's time.
