Banyan, Mandai open wildlife resort

It is the first resort within a nature destination in a capital city.

Banyan Group and Mandai Wildlife Group recently opened the Mandai Rainforest Resort by Banyan Tree, which is said to be the first resort within a nature destination in a capital city.

Located in the Mandai Wildlife Reserve, the resort is Banyan Group’s 100th destination. It also marked the firm’s return to Singapore.

The resort guests can visit the Banyan Tree Spa and Gallery. The resort features sustainable design and supports biodiversity, a release said.

The opening of Mandai Rainforest Resort coincided with the Rainforest Festival that will run until 3 December. The festival visitors will be offered activities such as nature walks and yoga classes, amongst others.

Proceeds from the festival’s ticket sales will be donated by Mandai Wildlife Group and Banyan Gallery with dollar-to-dollar matching under the SG60 Matching Grants, a release said.
