Singapore tops the list of safest cities for tourists: Forbes

Singapore received the top travel safety rating and the lowest natural disaster risk.

Singapore is the safest city for tourists, Forbes Advisor reported.

Forbes Advisor ranked 60 countries based on key metrics including crime risk, personal security risk, health security risk, infrastructure security risk, and digital security risk. The overall base score ranges from zero to 100, with zero being the safest and 100 being the riskiest.

Singapore scored zero out of 100 and received the best travel safety rating from the State Department. It also recorded the lowest natural disaster risk.

The country also had the lowest health, digital, and infrastructure security risks. Following Singapore were Tokyo, Japan, and Toronto, Canada, with scores of 10.72 and 13.6, respectively.

On the flip side, Caracas, Venezuela; Karachi, Pakistan; and Yangon, Myanmar, were the riskiest cities with scores of 100, 93.12, and 91.67.

A NOTE FROM SINGAPORE BUSINESS REVIEW

The people you want to reach are already in this room.

Every quarter, SBR lands on the desks of the founders, CFOs, and directors running Asia's most consequential companies. Every day, they open our newsletter and read our website. It's a room that took twenty years to build — and it's the one most of our partners are trying to get into.

The good news is that the door is open. We work with companies on thought leadership articles, sponsored content, industry summits across Southeast Asia, regional awards programmes, podcasts, and media placements in print and digital. The shape of the right partnership depends on what you're trying to do, which is why we'd rather start with a conversation than send a rate card.

If you have something this room should know about, tell us. We'll tell you honestly whether we can help, and how.

No rate cards until we understand the brief. It's a better use of everyone's time.
