Four in ten employees are ‘thriving’, yet only 14% are engaged at work
On workplace sentiment, 43% reported experiencing stress for much of the previous day.
About 40% of employees in Singapore evaluated their current and future lives as “thriving” in 2025, according to Gallup’s State of the Global Workplace: 2026 Report.
This is above the Southeast Asia average of 36% and the global average of 34%, the report said.
In contrast, only 14% of employees are engaged at work, compared with 25% regionally and 20% globally.
On workplace sentiment indicators, 43% reported experiencing stress for much of the previous day. This compares with 25% in Southeast Asia and 40% globally.
Daily anger stood at 15%, below both the regional and global averages of 19% and 22%, respectively.
Gallup’s data tracks employee engagement, life evaluation, stress, and anger based on survey responses collected between January and December 2025.
