1 in 2 Singaporean professionals intend to switch jobs within the year: survey

It’s well below the global average.

More than 1 in 2 Singaporean professionals are looking at changing jobs within the year, a reflection short of the steady decline in this measure of employment volatility in recent years.

The Kelly Global Workforce Index reveals that in Asia Pacific alone, 64% say they intend to look for a another job within a year, a figure that has increased slightly over the four-year period.

Meanwhile, less than 50% have had a career development discussion with their employer, a key element of talent development to ensure that employees are aware of what is being done to manage and develop their skills for the future.
