Chin Mun Chung is OxPay SG's new COO

He will be responsible for the overall direction, development, and operations of OxPay SG.

OxPay Financial Limited has tapped Chin Mun Chung as COO of OxPay SG Pte. Ltd. (OxPay SG), a wholly-owned subsidiary of the company, and as an executive officer of the group.

“We believe his expertise and leadership will support the group’s ongoing efforts to improve operational performance and reposition OxPay for future growth,” said Shawn Ching Wei Hung, non-executive non-independent deputy chairman of OxPay.

Chung has over 28 years of experience in Singapore’s technology and payments industry. He recently served as CEO of AXS Services of AXS Pte Ltd (AXS), following 12 years as the company’s Assistant CEO and Chief Business Officer.

His experience also includes roles at National Computer Systems Pte Ltd and Standard Chartered Bank.

Chung’s appointment as director and CEO of OxPay SG is pending the approval of the Monetary Authority of Singapore.

Upon approval, Chung will continue to be responsible for the overall strategic direction, development, and operations of OxPay SG.

A NOTE FROM SINGAPORE BUSINESS REVIEW

The people you want to reach are already in this room.

Every quarter, SBR lands on the desks of the founders, CFOs, and directors running Asia's most consequential companies. Every day, they open our newsletter and read our website. It's a room that took twenty years to build — and it's the one most of our partners are trying to get into.

The good news is that the door is open. We work with companies on thought leadership articles, sponsored content, industry summits across Southeast Asia, regional awards programmes, podcasts, and media placements in print and digital. The shape of the right partnership depends on what you're trying to do, which is why we'd rather start with a conversation than send a rate card.

If you have something this room should know about, tell us. We'll tell you honestly whether we can help, and how.

No rate cards until we understand the brief. It's a better use of everyone's time.
