China Everbright appoints new CEO and executive director

Xiong Jianping will also serve as the sustainability committee chair and strategy committee member.

China Everbright has appointed Xiong Jianping as its new executive director and CEO.

He will also take on roles as the company’s chairman of the sustainability committee and as a member of the strategy committee.

Before his appointment, Xiong was the general manager of the operation, safety, and environmental management department of Everbright Environment.

He also managed the company’s regional centres in Hangzhou and Suzhou within its environmental energy division.
