Data analytics leads GenAI-related job growth in Singapore

Architecture comes next at 4.1%.

Singapore GenAI-related job postings in September surged 4.6 times this year compared to the same period last year, Indeed reported.

The data analytics sector drove the GenAI job growth contributing 11% of the postings mentioning GenAI, which is expected as the careers in this sector often involve data scientists or engineers who work directly developing GenAI tools or incorporating them into their workflow.

This is followed by architecture with a 4.1% share of GenAI mentions. Although unexpected, Indeed said this increase highlights growing opportunities for GenAI, which is increasingly used to support administrative and creative tasks like image rendering and specification writing.

Medical information comes next at 3.8%, followed by scientific research (3.5%) and software development (2.8%).
