Hong Leong appoints Ng Chee Khern as independent non-executive director

He will also be a member of the board sustainability committee.

Hong Leong Asia Limited has appointed Ng Chee Khern as an independent non-executive director, starting 1 January 2025.

He will also be a member of the Board Sustainability Committee.

According to Hong Leong, the board believes that Ng’s qualifications and experience in building long-lasting systems and sustainable governance will further diversify the board’s core competencies and skill set.

Ng served as the Ministry of Manpower’s permanent secretary between April 2022 up to the present. Prior to this, Ng also served as permanent secretary in the Prime Minister’s Office from May 2017 to March 2022.
