Retail job postings jump 9.2% in Singapore

The number of job seekers looking for opportunities in the retail sector also increased.

From July 2022 to July 2023, the number of job postings in the retail market saw a 9.2% increase.

Interest in the retail market also rose, with the number of job seekers looking for opportunities in the sector increasing by 7.6% YoY.

According to Indeed, the top five in-demand retail jobs include Branch Manager (22%), Retail Sales Associate (20%), Store Manager (9%), Merchandiser (4%), and Logistics Associate (4%). 

Job seekers, on the other hand, are most keen on roles such as Retail Sales Associate (27%), Store Manager (13%), Cashier (10%), Branch Manager (8%), and Logistics Associate (7%).
