Singapore and Korea have agreed to broaden their partnership in the fields of science and research.
Singapore Deputy Prime Minister Heng Swee Keat, in his capacity as chairman of the National Research Foundation, met with Dr. Lee Ju-Ho, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Education of the Republic of Korea, in Seoul.
The leaders discussed enhancing cooperation between universities and research institutions in Singapore and Korea, focusing on translating research into practical innovations to boost economic growth.
The meeting also highlighted collaboration in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and educational technologies. Both countries aim to use these advancements to support students and teachers while improving learning outcomes.
