These are the fastest growing jobs in Singapore

The demand for AI specialists and robotics engineers is increasing.

AI specialist, robotics engineer and full stack engineer are the three fastest growing jobs in Singapore for 2019, according to a study by LinkedIn.

Amongst the top 15, the jobs included are backend developer, data scientist, devops engineer, data engineer, cyber security specialist, community specialist, partnership specialist, clinical specialist and ecommerce specialist.

This is said to show that whilst technical and hard skills are most in-demand in the job market, soft skills (such as community specialist and partnership specialist) remain relevant and are increasingly in-demand in the tech profession.

Furthermore, data scientists continue to be the most-viewed profession in LinkedIn.

“Singapore’s continued commitment to becoming a digital nation has led to continued demand for some of the fastest-growing jobs in our workforce. This also underscores the rise of data experts with a strong focus on technology,” said Feon Ang, vice president for talent and learning solutions for Asia Pacific at LinkedIn.
