UOB Chairman grabs 177th spot in Bloomberg's 200 richest people

Wee Cho Yaw is worth $6.5b.

Bloomberg released its inaugural list of the world's richest people in its December 2012 magazine issue. Wee Cho Yaw, chairman of United Overseas Bank, got in the list in the 177th spot. The 83-year old banker, according to the UOB website, has been the company's Chairman and CEO since 1974.
