Princeton Digital Group (PDG) has launched its TY1 campus in Saitama City, Japan—a $1.3b (US$1b) data centre with an information technology capacity of 96 megawatts.

The facility provides carrier-neutral connectivity to central and eastern Tokyo, Inzai, and key submarine cable landing stations.

Engineered specifically for next-generation artificial intelligence, TY1 features a power usage effectiveness of <1.34 and is equipped with advanced liquid cooling technologies.
