The app will also allow them to transact digitally through automatic payments.
Senoko Energy rolled out its mobile app which will enable its customers to manage their electricity accounts on the go and monitor their consumption patterns over time, an announcement revealed.
The app will supply households with data on their energy usage, and customers can also view their monthly bills, outstanding amounts and payment due dates whilst setting up automatic payments, the firm said. It will also include an option to view their rewards such as NTUC LinkPoints.
Senoko Energy is one of the 13 electricity retailers participating in the Open Electricity Market (OEM) which allows households to take charge on which firm provide their electricity.
“We aim to bring the power of digital technology to transform the customer experience,” Senoko Energy vice president of digital information technology Wei-Lung Wang said. “The mobile app reflects our commitment to provide a seamless customer experience.”
Customers can download the app from the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. They can sign in to their accounts with their email addresses registered with the firm.
Meanwhile, Senoko Energy has also developed a web portal in a bid to provide hassle-free services and information, the statement highlighted. The firm is also in the process of digitising its back-end billing and customer operation processes to deliver smoother and more efficient experiences for its customers.
