Singapore firms lead in cyber response planning: report
The city-state led in engaging stakeholders in tabletop exercises.
In Singapore, 69% of enterprises document and update their cyber response runbooks and playbooks on a monthly or quarterly basis, compared to the global 72%, Semperis reported.
According to Semperis’s enterprise resilience platform Ready1, only Singapore enterprises include more than half of the business stakeholders in tabletop exercises.
Of these, 53% come from the legal, finance, and HR teams; 56% from the business continuity team; and 55% from the disaster recovery team, all of which are vital participants in real-world cyber crises.
“Cyberattacks don’t check your calendar — they hit when you’re at your weakest,” Marty Momdjian, executive vice president of Semperis’ Ready1 said. “In moments of crisis, it’s not about rising to the occasion, but falling back on the strength of your preparation.”
