Valuetronics profit up 4.3% to $27.4 m in FY2025
Revenue for the period also rose 3.5%.
Valuetronics Holdings Limited reported a 4.3% increase in net profit to $27.4 m (HK$166.5m) for the year ended 31 March 2025.
The group's revenue also rose 3.5% to $284.3m (HK$1.73b).
Earnings per share increased to $0.068 (HK$0.416) from $0.064 (K$0.387)a year earlier.
Revenue in the consumer electronics segment fell 12.2% to $60.4m (HK$367m), hurt by weaker demand for traditional lifestyle products, despite contributions from a new entertainment-focused customer.
The industrial and commercial electronics segment grew 8.8% to $223.9m (HK$1.36b), supported by a Canadian network access solutions provider acquired last year.
Gross profit rose 10.8% to $48.3m (HK$293.7m), with gross margin improving to 17.0% from 15.9%, due to a focus on higher-margin products.
Other income dropped 10.1% to $9.5m (HK$58m), affected by fair value losses and lower interest income.
