Yealink picks Singapore for global operations HQ

The new base will oversee its worldwide support, cloud services, and regional engagement.

Yealink has chosen Singapore as the base for its global operational headquarters, expanding its presence in the country as it strengthens its worldwide operations and customer support capabilities.

The communications technology company said the Singapore headquarters will support global market enablement, operational coordination, supply chain collaboration, customer support, and cloud service management.

It will also serve as Yealink's exclusive Asia-Pacific cooperation centre and as an operational centre for Yealink Management Cloud Service (YMCS).

The company said Singapore's legal framework, data protection regulations, and capabilities in cross-border data compliance and privacy governance were key factors in its decision.

Alongside the headquarters, Yealink opened a Customer Experience Center (CEC), where customers and partners can access product demonstrations, solution showcases, training programmes, and collaborative workshops.

"Singapore represents more than a regional office for Yealink. It is an important operational hub that supports our global service capabilities, trusted operations, and localized customer engagement," said Jay Liu, Executive Vice President and Board Secretary at Yealink.

"This new operational headquarters reflects our long-term commitment to building a globally connected, locally responsive, and trusted collaboration ecosystem," Liu added.

The opening ceremony was attended by representatives from the Singapore Economic Development Board (EDB), Microsoft, EPROM Data Systems, as well as customers and business partners.

A NOTE FROM SINGAPORE BUSINESS REVIEW

The people you want to reach are already in this room.

Every quarter, SBR lands on the desks of the founders, CFOs, and directors running Asia's most consequential companies. Every day, they open our newsletter and read our website. It's a room that took twenty years to build — and it's the one most of our partners are trying to get into.

The good news is that the door is open. We work with companies on thought leadership articles, sponsored content, industry summits across Southeast Asia, regional awards programmes, podcasts, and media placements in print and digital. The shape of the right partnership depends on what you're trying to do, which is why we'd rather start with a conversation than send a rate card.

If you have something this room should know about, tell us. We'll tell you honestly whether we can help, and how.

No rate cards until we understand the brief. It's a better use of everyone's time.
