Both stores will incorporate LEGO’s new “Retailtainment” store format.
The LEGO Group has opened two LEGO Airport Stores (LAS) at Changi Airport, signifying their entry into Singapore’s travel retail arena.
The brand-new stores will unveil LEGO’s “Retailtainment” concept that features the latest designs and shopping experiences, inspiring creativity and fun for travellers of all ages.
Many fun-filled activities, exclusive promos, and a colourful collection of LEGO sets also await visitors in Changi from 2 November to 13 December 2023 in time for the holiday season.
Both stores will also showcase massive mosaic walls featuring the HSBC Rain Vortex, created by professional LEGO artist Nicholas Foo. Comprising of 41,472 pieces depicting the world’s tallest indoor waterfall, the mosaic will surely give a grand welcome for travellers. LEGO replicas of the Merlion and the Changi Airport Tower – each using 35,832 LEGO bricks – are also on open display.
“The LEGO Group is all about inspiring the power of creative play, and now with an expanded focus on travel retail, we will grow our presence and bring meaningful LEGO play to more kids and families across the region,” Eric Maugein, Regional President of the LEGO Group Asia Pacific, stated.
The new LEGO Airport stores are located at Changi Airport Terminals 3 and 4.
