FairPrice rolls out $6 vouchers to counter inflation

Price freezes on 500 essentials will stay until the end of August.

FairPrice Group has launched a new round of return vouchers to coincide with the Government’s latest CDC Voucher rollout.

From 11 to 17 June 2026, shoppers who spend $60 in CDC supermarket vouchers and/or SG60 supermarket vouchers in a single receipt at FairPrice supermarkets will receive a $6 FairPrice Return Voucher.

The vouchers can be used at FairPrice, FairPrice Finest and FairPrice Xtra outlets from the day after they are issued until 31 July 2026. No minimum spend is required.

The company said the initiative is part of efforts to help households manage daily expenses amid rising inflation and economic uncertainty.

FairPrice Group CEO Vipul Chawla said the vouchers are meant to help Singaporeans stretch their spending further as living costs remain a concern for many families.

He added that the group has also frozen prices for more than 500 daily essential items until the end of August.

The latest voucher scheme follows several cost-saving measures introduced by FairPrice Group this year.

A NOTE FROM SINGAPORE BUSINESS REVIEW

If you've been wondering whether SBR could work for your company — yes, probably.

A lot of the companies we partner with started as readers. They'd been following our coverage for a while, saw their own customers and competitors in it, and eventually asked the obvious question: could we do something with you? The answer is usually yes. The shape of it depends on what you're trying to do.

The options are broader than most people assume — thought leadership articles, sponsored content, industry summits across Southeast Asia, regional awards programmes, podcasts, and media placements in print and digital. Some partners use one channel; most use a mix. We figure out the right combination by starting with your brief, not with our rate card.

So if the question has been on your mind, here's the easy way to ask it.

We'll tell you honestly whether we can help, and how. It's a better use of everyone's time.
