Aspial’s net income rebounds to $7.94m in H1
Revenues increased by over 30%.
Aspial Corporation Ltd. has reported a net income attributable to owners of the company of $7.94m in the first half (H1) of the year, recovering from a loss a year ago.
In a bourse filing, the company said its earnings for the first six months of the year rebounded from a net loss of $6.63m last year.
Aspial’s revenue jumped 33% to $394.03m, whilst its profit before tax surged to $29.22m despite an increase in various costs.
Per business unit, Aspial’s retail segment reported a profit of $16.65m, financial service $18.02m, and real estate a loss of $9.44m.
Aspial recorded the highest revenue in Singapore with $321.58m in H1. This was followed by Malaysia with $26.67m, Australia with $26.04m, Europe and others with $19.39m, and Greater China with $348,000.
